Diverse Career Opportunities

The Automotive Industry is constantly evolving, and this creates career diversity and multiple opportunities for those keen to pursue their passions.

Within NBC Auto Parts & Engineering we have different specialities, where we develop the skills and capabilities of all our team members.

The parts team focuses on providing outstanding knowledge and service, having parts in stock and delivering as quickly as we humanly can. The roles within this team are spare parts interpreters, warehousing, sales, delivery drivers, purchasing and management.

The workshop team focuses on problem solving and finding solutions to your needs through their machining skills. We would love additional tradesmen and apprentices to retain the knowledge of the workshop, whilst diversifying the service offerings.

We are constantly on the lookout for people keen to be a team player, provide extra-ordinary levels of customer service and are passionate about the automotive industry.

If you are interested in working with the best independent automotive store in Tasmania, please contact Selena.

Our Passion project

The race car, the dream and our dream team

We are doing up a little VW Golf to race.

In 2018 Selena Palmer & Dale Brittain of DBC2 recognised the shortage of apprentices across our local industry.

To encourage people to become involved in our industry, NBC Auto Parts alongside DBC2 launched the CAREER program.

This program engaged with schools, the local TAFE, community programs and our local mechanics to provide hands on mechanical experience.

We are working on a GTI golf to transform it into a race car.

Whilst COVID put a hold on the project we are keen to reinvigorate the program and would like to see it ignite people's passion for the industry.

This privately funded project by NBC has allowed many younger students to gain practical experience. For further information on the program, please email selena@nbcauto.com.au and express your interest.
